Following a School Games Empowering Girls Project, this group of Year 5 girls were selected to become Girl Power Leaders. These leaders run weekly meetings with a group of Year 3 and 4 girls to aspire healthy, active lives, build confidence and self-esteem.

Geri is the Girl Power mascot and we encourage every one to 'Be more Geri'

In Year 4, children engage in a number of active sessions to develop their understanding of what a healthy lifestyle looks like, including information around a balanced diet. 

YouSkip Festival 2021

YouSkip is part of School Games 'You v You programme' where the focus is on young people challenging themselves to be the best they can be. This whole school challenge engaged Weddington and the wider community in a week of skipping fun!
